5 Things I’ve Been Loving Lately

garden416

Sometimes Mondays are hard. So I thought it would be a good idea to start the week off with 5 things I’ve been loving lately. 🙂

1. The beautiful spring weather and all the GREEN!

We’ve had some rainy days mixed in with the sunny ones, but oh, how we’re loving seeing the sun and the green leaves and grass and everything growing in the garden. We’re finally enjoying fresh lettuce and radishes from our garden again!

2. Ladybugs.

Every year we order ladybugs to release into the garden as a natural form of pest control. (If you follow me on Instagram I know you’ve already seen this picture, but I just had to share it here, too!).

3. Freezer cooking.

I did some experimenting and I found that this Chicken Spaghetti Squash Casserole recipe (it’s a THM-S) is freezable! Yay!

4. Family Work Days

This photo was also on Instagram. 🙂 For several weekends now we’ve been getting together at my mom’s house to help her get ready to sell it. It’s really more house/land than she needs now that dad has passed away. 🙁 It’s a very sad time for our family, but we all need to move forward.

The thing I’m loving about this is seeing the family all pitching in to help Mom. It’s such a beautiful thing. This past weekend one of my dad’s brothers and his wife and one of my dad’s sisters came to help remove wallpaper and paint. We got so much done, thanks to them! My brother’s family and our family also came to work. I do believe Mom’s house is now completely free of 80’s wallpaper!

5. The Homemaking Bundle Bonuses.

This year there were some great bonuses included with the Homemaking Bundle!

I’m really loving the free stickers and the word stamper I got from Inkwell Press.

And every year I redeem the Hope Ink offer. This year I got this lovely chalkboard verse from Lamentations that is so meaningful to me right now. And I also got a Bible verse print for the boys’ room, and one for the girls (which I don’t have framed yet, so I didn’t take a picture of it).

And here is the bonus that our whole family is enjoying together—The Molly Green Magazine bonus offer includes a one-year subscription to RightNow Media! And you get full access to it!

RightNow Media is a Christian streaming video service with over 10,000 videos and usually costs $149.00 a month! But you get it with the bundle for FREE!

The RightNow Media subscription includes sermons (including Francis Chan and John MacArthur and many others), Bible studies, marriage resources, financial resources (Dave Ramsey), and Christian children’s videos. We’ve already enjoyed watching several things.

Today is the last day to get the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle! Be sure to check it out before it’s gone!

Also – would you post the link to the planner you are using. I know you’ve posted about it before.

    Enjoy your week!

    1. Oh, yay! That will be fun to keep up with each other on Instagram. 🙂

I originally planned to use a certain planner, but then I ended up getting this one right before the new year, and I love it! I got the daily edition because it fits how I think about things. 🙂
