Mennonite Girls Can Cook {I Got It For Free Using Swagbucks!}

Mennonite Girls Can Cook
I recently got this wonderful cookbook using some Amazon gift cards I won by using Swagbucks. How fun to receive a free cookbook!  This cookbook features many recipes I grew up with, and I loved reading the stories.  I didn’t grow up Mennonite, but we lived in a Mennonite community and Mom liked to cook many of the same recipes (found in one of their church cookbooks).  I loved coming home from school to homemade noodles, homemade rolls, cinnamon rolls, and peppernuts around Christmastime.
Since my initial post about Swagbucks, I’ve received a few questions that I thought I might answer here.  The links in this post contain my Swagbucks referral code.  If you sign up through one of these links, I would be so very grateful!  For each swagbuck you win, the person who referred you will also get matching swagbucks.  For example, if you do a search and a message pops up saying, “Congratulations, you just won 10 swagbucks!” then I will also win 10 swagbucks.  This applies until you reach 1,000 swagbucks, and then I will no longer be awarded the matching swagbucks (see the frequently asked questions section at Swagbucks).
In order to win Swagbucks (that you can then trade in for various gifts, the most popular being the Amazon Gift Cards), you have to do a search through the Swagbucks site or toolbar.  The simplest way to benefit from Swagbucks is to install the toolbar.  The toolbar makes it easy to search and win. My husband and I have installed the toolbar on each of our computers (even though we share the same account).

In other frugal news, I just received 20 FREE custom photo cards (I paid only $1.49, to cover shipping).   We were out of town all day yesterday and when we got home (very late), there they were in the mailbox!  They look great, and I’m so happy they cost so little.  I love Money Saving Mom–through her website I was able to get 50 Free photo cards last fall and free address labels.
Have a great weekend!
