- Sell on Ebay. We’ve listed many things here through the years, and it’s been a great experience.
- Sell on Etsy. If you have handmade items, vintage items, or craft supplies, an Etsy shop may be a great idea.
- Sell homeschool items on Homeschool Classifieds. We buy books here and we also sell items we’re no longer using. It’s a great resource for homeschoolers.
- Have a garage sale. It depends on what you’ve got to sell, but sometimes you can make quite a bit with a garage sale.
- List your items on Craigslist.

glad to see the selling things idea worked out so well for someone! I have been selling a few things myself and plan/hope to find more to sell. in the interest of time most of my things have been going to a local consignment shop as it is primarily clothing that I have to sell. I probably make slightly less than I would selling myself online, but I am okay with it and it is still "Extra" money that I wouldn't have if I just donated everything.

I know what you mean about the time involved…I've donated most of our unneeded stuff, and only kept a small amount of things that I thought might sell. A local consignment shop is a great idea, too!

I've been de cluttering with you… I sold some things here and there on my homeschool FB support group. It was 10 dollars here 5 dollars there … Nothing huge but by the time I added up all the small dollar amounts it totaled over 100.00! I was shocked how small sales could add up! ( I also donated items in the spirit of The Lord has been so faithful and good to us)

Wow! $100 is great, Adrienne! I love how those small amounts add up. I really need to get on the ball and sell some things! 🙂
