Valentine’s Day
We planned a simple but fun Valentine’s Day family celebration.
We decorated the table with a white tablecloth, paper plates and cups from the dollar store, and some fabric rose petals (also from the dollar store).
We had salad in a red heart-shaped bowl (from the dollar store). We also made red heart-shaped ice cubes from a heart mold (also from the dollar store!). We simply froze some juice in the heart mold to get the red color.
For dessert, we had these Chocolate Treasure Boxes. They were so delicious!
A good time was had by all…  🙂
What fun! Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
Thank you, Elisabeth!
Lovely table you served up there, Joy! Just beautiful!
Thank you!
Oh you have given me some of ideas for next year. Would you share your recipe for your desert? [o=

Hi Mary! Sure, I'll try to share the dessert recipe when I get a chance!
Oh my, your dessert looks delicious! What a beautiful celebration! Glad you are back 🙂 Blessings, Collette
Thank you, Collette! 🙂
Joy,
This made me smile. You are amazing! I'm marking it on my calendar for next year to make such a wonderful display on my Valentine's night table!
Thank you!! I had fun making the dessert with my children, my mother-in-law gave me the tablecloth years ago, and the rest I either had on-hand or got at the Dollar Store. I was so thrilled to find the heart-shaped bowl and the heart-shaped ice cube trays (for $1!!). Your comment made me smile. 🙂
