We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with my family. The food was delicious! I had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roll, cranberry sauce, corn, green bean casserole, and dessert! I figured it was a feast day, and I went all out. 🙂
I spent Black Friday ordering a few Christmas gifts for my children, and catching up on laundry. I also got our Christmas cards ordered at Shutterfly. I can’t afford to give everyone cards, so this year I just got the free ones and then some prints to give out. I save one card for each child’s scrapbook, and one for myself, so that only leaves four. I figure our children and close family are the ones who will really treasure these in years to come, so that’s my reasoning behind that. 🙂
If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen this photo, where I was frantically sewing, trying to get three matching skirts and a dress made for our family photos on Wednesday. Well, I finished them, thankfully! And the day I decided to take our picture, it was cold with 30 mph winds. So, not the best atmosphere for an outdoor picture. Surprisingly, we did get some cute ones!
