Beauty in the Heart {Giveaway!}

Our family has loved Doorposts for many years now, and we so much appreciate the godly focus of their books and materials.
Pam’s new book, Beauty in the Heart, is a Bible study on true beauty for young women.  I think it will be such a helpful tool for encouraging our daughters!
The study is designed for young ladies ages 10-12 and up, but it could also be used in ladies’ Bible study groups and for girls’ clubs.
“What does the Bible say about beauty?  What attitudes does God value in a young woman’s heart? What actions are characteristic in the life of a truly beautiful woman?  What attitudes and actions detract from, or even render disgusting, a woman’s physical beauty?  Discover the answers to these questions while you learn how to mine for the riches that are hidden in God’s Word.”
 In this book, you will learn how to:
  • Use a concordance
  • Study a specific topic in the Bible
  • Perform a character study
  • Use marginal study notes
  • Study a verse, passage, or entire chapter or book of the Bible
  • Find the original word used in a passage and how it is used in other passages
  • Use free Bible study tools on computers and mobile devices
The book also contains ten in-depth studies that focus on godly women like Ruth and Esther, and on what the Bible says about discretion, modesty, adornment, true beauty, and more.   You can view some sample pages here.

  1. Seems like a wonderful book! :] I've been reading Ruth a lot recently, and am about to read through it again with a commentary. My next hurtle is to read Esther a few times through; this book would compliment my studies very well! I also have a few young ladies I could lend this out to. :]

    Blessings!

  2. This looks like a wonderful book. What a privilege and blessing it is to disciple our daughters.
    {Would love to enter, but for some reason any time I enter with a raffle-o-copter style, it always says that my entry failed.}
