What I Wore ~ Red
I wore this outfit to church today.
Lace top: Forever 21
Red Sweater: hand-me-down from my daughter
Grey Pinstripe Skirt: hand-me-down from my mother
Black Mary-Janes: Walmart (last year)
Necklace: F21
Makeup: Cowgirl Dirt (read my review here-I’ve been wearing this makeup for over a year now, and it’s my favorite)
I thought this necklace matched the combination of the grey skirt and the black shoes:
Sorry about all the photos of this lace top…I really love it. 🙂
Here’s another outfit from last week:
Red Sweater: Thrift Store
Black and White Stripe Top: F21
Denim Skirt: Ebay
Black Boots: Rampage (similar)
Hairband: Lilla Rose
And a friend just gave me this suit today (thanks, Grace!):
This is unlike everything else in my closet, but it fit me perfectly, and I thought it was kind of fun (and the free-ness made it even more fun). I also found if I took away the jacket, I could get a completely different look with just the skirt, a cardigan, and brown riding boots (these boots are the same brand and similar to mine).
I love that second to last outfit…the suit. Acctually, I love the pattern. Glad I found your blog and see REAL modest outfits. 🙂

Thank you, Iris! I'm so glad to have you here!
I have been enjoying these posts, Joy! You are creative in your outfit combinations, and they always look so nice!
Thank you, Sarah!
You look absolutely awesome in it. It looks like it was custom made for you. Glad you liked it.
Thanks again so much for the clothes you and your mom gave us! They were such a blessing!
I have been enjoying the posts showing what you wore so much! recently, I found I was not putting the time and attention to detail on my appearance. I figured that I was home and with washing, dusitng, dishes…we tend to get messy. bad excuse!I have now been choosing my outfits for the next day the night before. I have also been opening the drawers to my jewelry box which has been left neglected for a while.I'll have to have my oldest snap a few pics to get a birds eye view.
Thanks for the encouragement! ♥
Thanks for your sweet comment, Ellen! I loved seeing your outfit, too!
Love all of these! My favorite are the first and the last. So beautiful! Isn't it funny how something you would normally never wear suddenly becomes one of your favorites just because you got a good deal on it? I got a great skirt for 50 cents at a thrift store that I thought I would never wear but it is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for sharing.
Yes, I'm surprised how everyone seems to like the suit! And getting it for free did make it seem cuter. 🙂
Oh and I forgot to mention that I got the same eastland shoes two weeks ago at a thrift store!lol.

How funny about the shoes! I love mine. They're so comfortable, and it was so nice to find them in like-new condition for only a few dollars.
I like all the outfits! You look so cute! I have 4 boys, and two girls. Im practical and and yet I like to see wht other moms wear to get ideas for myself. Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Christina
Thanks, Christina!
Joy…the last outfit is just so pretty! I like to mix and match my garments also. It is more fun that way 😀 Thank you for sharing… maria b.
Thank you, Maria!
I love the lace top and the plaid suit is fabulous! I need to update my wardrobe some more.
Thanks!
I have my husband take my outfit pictures–but even with an adult, heads get cut off sometimes! 😛 I really like that plaid suit!
That's funny, Rachel! Yes, I think my husband has done that a few times, too. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
