What We Wore {Wedding Edition}
Last month our family went to a beautiful wedding. It was a perfect October afternoon, and the wedding was held outside in a beautiful location. Can you tell that I just love going to weddings?!
Here’s what my daughter Elyse wore:
Lace Dress: thredUPÂ (my younger daughter wore this same dress in this post)
Denim Jacket: Forever 21
Belt: ?
Tights: Walmart
Brown Lace-Up Boots: Local department store
Pearl and Flower Necklace: Forever 21 (from my closet!)
Purse: First it was my mom’s, then it was mine, and I just gave it to Elyse!
And I have to show you her hair, since I helped create the hairstyle! She found a neat headband thing that we used to make this style, but you can also do this with a Lilla Rose hairband!
I have several of these headbands from Lilla Rose, and I’m hoping to get some photos of this style soon. Chelsy at It’s a Beautiful Life did a review and giveaway for me of the pearl hairband, and she did this style–it turned out gorgeous!
You both look stunning. Not only are you dressed modestly, but you both have a very classic look. I can imagine little girls looking at you two and thinking, "Wow, they are so pretty," and then going home and trying to play dress-up with your layered looks.
And I agree, you do look way too young to be her mother 🙂

Stunning! And you look way to young to be her mom. I truly and honestly thought you were both just friends. I love the simple femininity and classic elegance that you both wore. Beautiful! And I love the hair style! I just did that style yesterday, but want the adorable headband that was shown. So cute!
