This frosted lemonade recipe is one of those treats that comes to mind every summer, and always hits the spot. Made with creamy vanilla ice cream and a delicious lemony flavor, it’s the perfect drink to sit down with and cool off after a hot summer day.

Instructions
To make one serving at a time: In a blender, combine 2 cups of ice cream, and 1 cup of lemonade. Blend until smooth.
Follow the instructions in step 1 to make two more servings. If you have a larger blender, you may be able to blend more at a time.
Serve immediately, and enjoy!
To Make With Optional Homemade Lemonade:
If you decide to make this recipe with homemade lemonade, follow these instructions. First, juice the lemons. It may take 6-10 lemons to get 1 cup of juice (depending on the size of the lemons).
Mix 1 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup granulated sugar together until the sugar dissolves.
Add 2 cups cold water to the lemon-sugar mixture and stir.
Then add this homemade lemonade to a blender with the ice cream, blend until smooth, and serve.
Notes
This recipe is easy to scale up or down. If you only want to make one serving, just use 2 cups of ice cream and 1 cup of lemonade.*You can use either premade store-bought lemonade, or you can use the homemade lemonade recipe below (or use your favorite lemonade recipe if you have one!). Either way, you'll just need 3 cups of lemonade to make 3 servings of frosted lemonade.Homemade Lemonade (optional):
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups ice cold water
How to Store: This recipe is best consumed right after making it, as it doesn't store very well.
