Break the cinnamon sticks into about ½-inch pieces.
Place them in the grinder and grind for about 1 minute or until smooth.
Use immediately or store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place for 6-12 months.
Notes
Cinnamon sticks come in varying sizes. Keep in mind that this recipe assumes average-sized cinnamon sticks. If your cinnamon sticks are large, you will need fewer of them to make the same amount the average ones will make.
