Cute turkey brownies are the perfect Thanksgiving dessert idea. They have a brownie body with a cookie face and candy corn feathers for a fun holiday treat!
Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or cooking spray and bake brownies according to the package instructions. Brownies are done when a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
Using a 3" circle cookie cutter, cut out 10 circles from the baked brownies.
Flip brownies upside down so you are frosting the bottom, which will be smoother than the top.
Frost each brownie with a thin layer of chocolate frosting.
Place the Nutter Butter cookie onto the frosting in the center of the brownie about half-way down.
Cut red and yellow M&Ms in half.
Use a small amount of frosting on the back of each candy eyeball and halved M&M to assemble the turkey’s face.
Press 6 pieces of candy corn onto each brownie in a fan-like shape to make the feathers.
Notes
*If you're making homemade brownies instead of using a box mix, the prep time, assembly time and total time will be increased. The time noted above is for brownies that have already been prepared.Turkey brownies do not need to be refrigerated. The bottom of the brownies may be a little crumbly, so it’s best to store them side by side rather than on top of each other to keep everything intact. You can store them in an airtight container for several days. Freezing is not recommended as the brownies may get crumbly when frozen.
