Boil water in a small saucepan and let the Earl Grey tea bags steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
Warm up the milk in a saucepan or for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes in the microwave, and then froth it with a frother until thick foam appears and it has at least doubled in size.
Add the vanilla extract to the milk and mix well.
Add the honey to the tea.
Divide the tea into 2 cups or mugs.
Use a spoon to hold back the foam and divide the hot milk over the 2 cups/mugs.
Then use a spoon to add the milk foam on top of the tea.
Serve while hot.
Notes
How to Store: If you won’t be using all of the tea after it’s brewed, you can store it for up to a week in the fridge. Once the milk, honey and vanilla are combined, you can keep them for about three days in the fridge. You can reheat the tea or use it cold, frothing the other ingredients before serving with the tea.To Make an Iced Version: Follow the recipe instructions up to step 4, and then put the tea into the freezer for 10 minutes, and make sure the milk is also chilled. After the 10 minutes in the freezer, you would pour the chilled tea over ice and add the milk and enjoy cold, for an iced London Fog latte!
