Needlework can be a fun and relaxing hobby, and it’s also a great way to make handmade gifts and to decorate your own home.  My aunt taught me how to cross-stitch when I was twelve years old, and I was thankful for that skill.  I don’t spend much time doing needlework these days, but I still bring some with me on long car trips (if I’m not working on a knitting project instead).
Today I’m at  Raising Homemakers, where I’m sharing a few of my favorite resources for teaching needlework.

Hi, I'm Joy!

I'm a homemaker and homeschooling mom of 5. For over 25 years I've been cooking from scratch and making homemade bread for my family of 7. I love sharing sourdough recipes, easy dinner ideas, and simple DIY projects for your home.
