Here are the goals from last week:
- Plan another date night with my husband.
- Read aloud several more chapters of Little House in the Big Woods. Finished the book!
- Finish the scrapbook I’m working on for my daughter’s birthday.
- Finish filing papers.
- Organize and wipe down one kitchen cupboard.
- Clear off and organize my desk.
- Be in bed by 10:30 every night (this would be a miracle if I can actually do it!). This was a total fail, and I ended up going to bed very late a couple of nights for various reasons. I’ll try again this week!
- Exercise 3 days this week.
- Read 5 chapters in my current book. I read about 13!
- Date with husband (in case you’re wondering, we have most of our dates at home!)
- Spend 30 minutes of one-on-one time with each child.
- Start an immune support tincture for the coming cold/flu season.
- Make costumes for girls (they asked me to make costumes for an upcoming event we’re attending).
- Finish school planning. I’m still working on this, but I really need to finalize everything. Hopefully this week.
- Read 5 chapters of my current book.
- Exercise 3 days this week.
- Be in bed by 10:30.

Lovely post! I just get excited about organized cupboards, I am a home-making nerd in that way 🙂 Thank you for sharing on the Art of Home-Making Mondays this week!
P.S. I had a daughter turn 13 this year, it was bittersweet for this mama…

Thank you! I know what you mean about 13 being bittersweet. I feel the same way…

I love your skirt! Is it easy to make, and can you make it non maternity ( I noticed the pattern is a maternity skirt). Considering purchasing the pattern.
Joy Kincaid says
Thank you! Yes, it's super easy to make (I can make one in an afternoon), and I long ago altered my pattern for regular (non-maternity) wear. All you do is eliminate the maternity panel and then draw up the pattern a bit. She gives you some instruction on how to do that in the pattern (I have an older, print version from several years ago, so not sure what the new one is like).

Love your outfits and how you organized your spice cupboard! I love seeing how others organize as I'm always looking for help as I just am lost when it comes to organizing! What a fun birthday party! Love you guys!

Thank you, Tabitha! We love y'all too!!!! ♥

I need to organize more. We started back to school this week so it has been "fun." Love the skirt you made. ;0) I need to finish up my second one of that. Perhaps I should try the list thing…. Yes I am rambling.

Hi Christy! You're ahead of me, since we haven't even started school yet. I usually wait until the first week of September. But I kind of wish we had already started so we could be finished sooner. 🙂
I love making lists! They really help keep me focused. I never get everything done on my lists, but I keep making them anyway. 🙂
