    Elisabeth,
Thanks! My mom gave me that cup and saucer…I "rescued" it from being put in the thrift store box. 🙂

    Sarah,
Thank you for your cheery comment! 🙂

    Thanks! I love Phil. 4:8. ♥

    Mary,
Yes, there are some aspects that are harder to see as beauty…although it helps that my daughters were the ones doing those dirty dishes! 🙂 And yes, the reminder that dirty dishes mean a meal eaten and enjoyed!

Oh yes there is beauty in it ALL. But sometimes I need to look harder in the beauty of dirty dishes and remember what it shows. It shows that we were able to eat, what a blessings indeed.

    Blessings and ((HUGS))

Beautiful pictures. Ordinary, everyday things are beautiful. Reminds me of Phil 4:8 … whatever is lovely … let your mind dwell on these things.

I loved this post, Joy! Your photos are amazing! Such beauty reflected in the simple things of life . . . or perhaps that is what makes them beautiful – their simplicity.

Thank you for sharing as simply looking at this post was inspiration for me as I start my day!

Beautiful! I love the turquoise cup and saucer. And the sweet sound of music in my home is a joy to me as well.
