Find the full list of ingredients, amounts, and instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post. Here are the key ingredients that make this chili so delicious:

  • Ground chicken: Lean protein that keeps the chili hearty but light. You could also use a different type of ground meat, like beef or turkey.
  • Sweet potato: Adds natural sweetness and a creamy texture.
  • Kidney + pinto beans: Make it extra filling and add great flavor. You could also add black beans for a different flavor.
  • Chili powder + cumin: Warm, smoky spices for classic chili taste.
  • Tomato sauce + broth: Create a rich, savory base that ties everything together. It’s easy to make homemade chicken bone broth.
