My beloved father passed away on Monday (February 29th). I’ve cried buckets of tears. I just can’t imagine life without my daddy. The funeral is tomorrow (Friday). Please pray for our family during this very painful time of grief.

Good Morning! Not such a great one when you seem to be mourning the loss of your father and you are hurting. Praying for you today that the Lord would wrap his arms around you and your family as you go through this day and the days to come. May you find comfort and joy in your memories that you will share with others today remembering your father. Lifting you up in prayer today that you may find peace in the love of Jesus and know that he is there for you. Praying for you and your family, Joy! When my mom passed last year, I was able to find some comfort in remembering that she left this world exactly when God had planned that she would. I still cried and cried – I still cry – but there was a sweet comfort in knowing that God was in charge of the timing, and that she was henceforth to be happy in His presence.
