45 Best Christian Quotes and Verses for Easter

Christmas and Easter are my favorite holidays of the year.

I love the lights and music of Christmas, singing “Joy to the world, the Lord has come.”

With Christmas we celebrate the light of the newborn Son of God breaking into the darkness of the world.

And Easter proclaims that the baby born in Bethlehem grew up to be the sinless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

I always look forward to spring with the blossoming flowers and newness of life. After a long, cold winter (at least in the part of the country I live in), it’s so refreshing to have bright, sunny days that warm the earth.

But as much as I love the natural wonders of springtime, the spiritual truth of Easter is even more powerful!

The coming of Easter reminds us that we can be forgiven, made right with God, and overcome death through the resurrection of Christ.

I’ve put together this list of some of the best Christian Easter quotes to encourage you and point you to the One who died in our place and then rose up on the third day.

May these quotes speak as powerfully to you as they do to me!
