The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately, and we’re enjoying having the windows open to the fresh air and playing in the sunshine. We’ve already started planting some greens and other cooler-weather crops in the raised beds, and I’m so much looking forward to fresh lettuce again! It’s so nice to always have a fresh bouquet of daffodils or other flowers on the table every day.
As so often happens in the spring, I’m feeling a need to take a blogging break. Spring cleaning, organizing, baking, family activities, and hopefully some sewing are on my list. I hope to be back soon!

What beautiful pictures!! I love the pastel eggs! How did you do them? I really enjoy your blog. You are a breath of fresh air to my crazy busy life. Happy Easter to you and your family.

Thank you! We used some eggs that are made just for dyeing (that I found inexpensively at Walmart). Then we just used regular easter egg dye to dye them.

Thank you so much for your kind words, and I hope you have a lovely Easter also!
