I’ve worn this outfit so many times the past few months, and it always makes me feel happy.  It’s mostly the scarf, but the Italian Merino wool cardigan (picked up at the thrift store for a few dollars, a couple of years ago), and the striped top and my brown riding boots…the whole outfit just feels right.
I’ve worn it to the dentist, out running errands, and to the emergency room with my husband at 3 AM.  In every case I felt warm, cozy, and glad I had picked this particular outfit.  I got the scarf and striped top from Forever 21.
Do you wear stripes and florals together?  🙂

I love the stripes and flowers! 🙂 As a hairstylist I'm always looking at ways to push the creative envelope, but still be respectable and modest. 🙂 I might just have to try this! And start sharing some of my outfits. 🙂

That would be fun Nabila Grace! Push the creative envelope and share your outfits! I think it's inspiring to others when we dress modestly but use some creativity. 🙂

I think it's prefectly acceptable to mix and match patterns! You kind of have to look and see what works together. I'd love to see a picture of the whole outfit, unless you were trying to avoid that 🙂

Maybe someday I'll get a photo of the whole outfit. This time I was working with just my 50mm lens (which is all I've got) and trying to get a closeup of my lovely scarf! 🙂

Your scarf is beautiful! I don't have any striped shirts but it looks pretty on you. 🙂 Blessings…

It looks nice! Some of the things you never thought to put together really make a nice outfit. Where I live you hardly see people wearing thoes scarves but my daughter and I are trying to wear them more. Were learning how to tie them and what to wear them with. Its kinda fun!

Thank you, Christina! I love my scarves, and that's one of the main things that I feel sad about when the cold weather is over, is no more scarves for a while! Maybe you and your daughter will encourage others to wear them more! 🙂
