We usually only get to see my brother and his family all together once a year at Thanksgiving.  We look forward to this time each year.
My brother always entertains us:
This year my parents had some new additions to their family.  These adorable, fluffy little babies were taking up residence in the basement under a heat lamp:
After all the food and festivity, the kids always enjoy playing together outside:
And later in the afternoon, the guitars were brought out and we enjoyed our two older daughters and their cousin making music together:
The impromptu concert turned into a time of praise and worship, with everyone joining in, and it seemed a fitting way to end a day of gratitude.

Hi, I'm Joy!

I'm a homemaker and homeschooling mom of 5. For over 25 years I've been cooking from scratch and making homemade bread for my family of 7. I love sharing sourdough recipes, easy dinner ideas, and simple DIY projects for your home.
