My wonderful husband had the great idea to take each of the four older children on a “shopping date” with him this month.  Beginning with the oldest (age 12), he took them shopping to buy simple, inexpensive gifts for their siblings (and their mother).  Then they had lunch together.  Today is the last shopping date (the 6-year-old’s turn).  They had such a fun time shopping with daddy and then coming home to wrap their gifts.  Since Littlest Guy (age 2) didn’t get to go, he’s helping with the wrapping.  🙂

    That is really special!

My husband works for a large printing company and he gets paper for free, so all our gifts are wrapped up in white paper!
