Handmade Birth Announcements

We found this birth announcement stamp when I was expecting our second baby, and this will be my third time using it. 

Now all I will need to do is add ribbon to the top of the card (I use pink for a girl and blue for a boy…last time I bought a roll of pink and a roll of blue…I used the pink last time, so we’ll see if I get to use the blue this time or if I’ll have to find some more pink!). It is kind of a ritual for me those first few days after birth to sit in our bed with my new baby sleeping next to me and fill out the birth announcements with all the pertinent baby information.

The children thought it was very fun when I asked them to help me make some stamped thank you cards. Everyone really got into it. We ended up with some very unique and special cards!
