Provision

Last week my husband and I (and Baby) went shopping and we had a great time together.  We got this whole pile of clothes and many other items for only $8.00.  Most of the clothes were in like-new condition and only 25 cents a piece.

We also stopped at a bulk food/discount grocery store owned by an Amish family.  They had a lot of very inexpensive organic items.  We left with three huge boxes.  They also had bulk grains and handmade soaps and salves.  I got some of the chickweed salve that contained lots of really great herbs (including lavender and comfrey), and I’ve already had occasion to use it–it’s great stuff.

This was my husband’s favorite–Green and Black’s Organic Dark Chocolate mint candy bars for only 40 cents!  We bought several.

We try to save most of our shopping trips for once or twice a month.  Then when we go, we really stock up.  We both love to get bargains, so we enjoyed our time together!
