Creating Together

We’ve been busy in the kitchen these past weeks, making crafts and food together.  And there’s still so much more that I have planned for the next few days, trying to squeeze in as many special memories made together as possible.
I won’t be hosting anymore link-ups for awhile, as my free trial for the linky service ran out, and we’re not ready to commit to paying for the one year subscription of $24.  I’ve enjoyed so much reading the posts you’ve linked up, and maybe I’ll be able to host again in the future.  For now, I’ll enjoy the freedom to post random thoughts and happenings from home.

    1. Thanks, Keri! We actually used already-made candy canes to make hot cocoa stir sticks. We just took already made candy canes, melted almond bark, and stuck them in a marshmallow. Then we coated the marshmallow with almond bark and shook sprinkles on them. The almond bark hardens and makes a nice candy cane with a marshmallow at the end to stir hot cocoa with. It will even hook over the side of a mug. I saw this idea on Pinterest. 🙂

And the beaded candy canes were from a kit I got at Hobby Lobby. I've wanted to make those for years, so I was thrilled to find the kit. We made lots so we could give some away.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas!

      ♥Joy
