Denim + Black

We woke up this morning to very cool and overcast weather. It was kind of festive, and I was excited to wear something warm for a change! As I was searching for something, my eye fell upon one of my favorite scarves. I love this scarf! I got it last year at a Black Friday sale, and it also has matching gloves. ♥
It’s so soft and warm and I also love the design:
My skirt is a black eyelet skirt I got years ago, and since it’s kind of lightweight I wore my Deborah & Co. fleece-lined leggings with it and stayed perfectly warm.
Since I had a bulky scarf around my neck, I decided to wear my hair up. I have naturally curly hair, and I need to wash (or at least condition) it every day. I didn’t want to put my hair up wet, so I smoothed some gel through it and then used my blow dryer and diffuser to dry it.
Then I just twisted it up into a messy bun and secured it at the back with an extra large flexi clip. At the top of the bun I added two you-pins to secure the loose curls a bit better. My husband tried to get a picture, but he said, “all those curls are covering them up!” If you look closely you can kind of see them. 🙂
