A Little Knitting Project

After finishing this Noro shawl/scarf (which still needs to be blocked and photographed–but just let me say that I love it and can’t wait to wear it when the weather cools down this fall!), I put aside all knitting projects for a few months.
But now I’m picking it back up again so I can make these cute little bunnies.  We’ve been all about bunnies here for the past few months.  Our real-life bunnies, bunny books, etc.  I thought it would be fun to make some little bunny friends for my younger children.  Since I took these photos last week, I’ve made the ears and tail, and all I need to do is put it all together.  I’m thankful to my mom for the scrap yarn and the loan of the needles, making these very inexpensive for me to make.
And I’m still working on this huge book!  It’s so huge that it’s like reading several books, and it’s taking some time.  I do find it very interesting, but reading time is usually limited.  I’m hoping to finish it by the end of the year, but who knows if that will happen or not.  ðŸ™‚

  1. I also have that book, but I still have to start reading it! I think I just need a few more hours in each day so I can accomplish more of what I'd like to accomplish! 🙂

  2. I am working on an easy wrap/shawl for myself in a gorgeous blackberry color! I'm hoping to get it done before it turns cool here!

  3. looks like a worthy book… how fun to make these bunnies! I am hoping to do an elephant in grey for the first time 🙂 Have a blessed day!

    1. Thanks for visiting, Elizabeth! Yes, I'm having so much fun with the bunnies. I like that they finish up quickly. An elephant sounds fun, too! After this brief experience with toy-making, I'm thinking of making more! 🙂
