A Mother’s Hands
This is a re-post from the archives. This was originally posted last April (2012), but I wanted to share it again, in honor of May being the month that we celebrate mothers and all they do!
{Moments from a day in my life…}

{Helping my husband work on the lawnmower. }
{Rosemary Chicken with rosemary from my herb garden.}
{The chocolate sheet cake in the background was made by my daughter to take to a gathering. She did a great job, and I’m so proud of her!}
Mothers have such an important job! We love our husbands and children, cook, clean, bandage cuts and bruises, read stories, nurse babies, and many of us homeschool in addition to all that. It is such a high calling, but sometimes it’s so easy to feel discouraged and weary. Blessings to all the mothers who might read this! Keep going, your family needs you! (If you’re reading this and you’re not a mother, you still have a high calling to do whatever it is He has called you to do. May you be blessed as you do His will!)
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might…”
~Ecclesiastes 9:10
“She…willingly works with her hands.”
~Proverbs 31:13
“Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
~Proverbs 31:31
Great job!
