The Greatest Fear

I came across this quote lately, and I just had to share it:

“Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter.”
– Francis Chan

I wonder how often I’m in danger of wasting my life on things that don’t really matter. Sometimes it’s a challenge to push aside lesser things in favor of the more important. For me today, the most important things look like putting away laundry, cleaning a room, cooking, cleaning the garage, and most of all, loving on my family. (Oh, and getting books ready to be mailed!)
“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12
