Yarn Along
After a few failures with a vest I was knitting for my littlest guy, I decided to set that project aside for awhile and work on something satisfyingly simple. I’m in the process of knitting the Wintry Weather Cowl from this book (which I checked out from the library). I love the yarn and the blue color. I’m making this for my oldest son to wear while he’s out playing in the snow this winter. And if I can get it done in time, I plan to wrap it up for a Christmas gift (I’m sure he’ll be thrilled when he opens it). 🙂
I’ve just started reading Trim Healthy Mama, and I love it. All of you mamas interested in healthy eating and natural health need this book! I’ll share more about it later, when I’ve read more of it.
Are you working on handmade Christmas gifts, or knitting anything new?
I love that blue also. I am going to make a cowl for my neighbor and I am currently working on a striped slouchy hat for one of my daughters. I saw that book advertised in Raising Rubies and I am interested in hearing your review.
Thanks, Karen! Cowls are great to knit. I think this is one of the easiest knitting projects I've ever done. 🙂
Hi Miss Joy, I am knitting some super quick and easy scarves for Christmas gifts. Also I am knitting preemie hats too. I just finished a super cute mesh market bag. I woke up sick this morning. I am feeling somewhat better but still have a bad headache. I am praying you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and see you Lord willing on Sunday. Have a Blessed Evening~
Hi Grace! Scarves are a great idea, and that's so sweet that you're knitting preemie hats. I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick. Hopefully we'll see you on Sunday!
Thanks for the book recommendation! I just ordered it from your link. 😀 Can't wait to read it! Happy Thanksgiving to your family!
Thanks, Kristin, I hope you like it as much as I do! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
that blue is wonderful. what a great idea, a winter weather cowl. 🙂
Thank you!
