Sewing Kits 4 Kids Review

If you’ve ever wanted to teach your children how to sew but didn’t know where to begin, I highly recommend Sewing Kits 4 Kids (Click here to visit Sewing Kits 4 Kids.).  Each kit comes with most of the supplies you’ll need to make the items (you’ll need to provide some basic sewing supplies, like scissors, sewing needles, glue, iron, etc.).
We had so much fun making these together, and I really appreciated that everything was already put together and ready to go.  Very helpful for busy moms!

This little owl pouch is so adorable!  It’s simple enough that even a small child can complete it with little or no help.  They simply lace it together and then it is tied at the top to make a “handle.”

My littlest guy (who just turned 3 last week), was so happy while he was making this.  He kept saying, “Look, I’m doing it all by myself!”
He was so proud of the finished product, and promptly filled it up with his pennies.
My younger daughter (age 6 1/2) made this button bag:
She did need a bit of help to learn the stitches, and her thread got tangled up a few times, but she was very pleased with the completed bag.
Our oldest son (9) made a little dog puppet:
I did help him with a few of the sewing steps, but he had fun learning some basic sewing skills.  And he loved his new little friend!
My older girls (11 and 13) made these Blue Jean Bags:
I thought they turned out so cute!  My daughter carried hers to church on Sunday with her notebook, pen, and other essentials.
Sewing Kits 4 Kids is the business of two home-educated sisters, and I love that their sewing kits have been used in orphanages and also sewing classes led by missionaries.  Teaching sewing can be a means for spreading the gospel!  I also love supporting small home businesses, especially when they are owned and run by fellow homeschoolers.
They have many different kits available to choose from, and there is something for everyone–from beginning to more experienced sewers.
I was very impressed with how nicely done the kits are.  Everything is packaged neatly, and their shipping is very fast.
These kits would be great to have on hand for the coming winter months when everyone is stuck inside with nothing to do!  And they are very affordable!
I received 5 sewing kits for free for review purposes, but the fact that they were free in no way affected my review.  This post contains my affiliate links.

  2. We have used these kits and really loved them. I bought several for my kids last fall to make gifts for eachother for Christmas. They really enjoyed making them and then they really enjoyed getting the finished products from eachother.
