Write Them On The Doorposts
“And these words which I command to you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up…You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” ~Deuteronomy 6:6,7,9
When we married my husband and I decided that we wanted to have God’s word hanging on our walls. My attempt to do that led me to Scripture stitchery. I found the above pattern at Hobby Lobby about 8 years ago. Since then I have made several more, including some I designed myself.

This last stitchery I designed myself 2 years ago. It was very quick and easy to do. The vintage buttons were given to me and I really wanted to use them in some creative way. This photo was taken outside right after I had framed it with a frame that was hanging around in the garage. It now hangs in our dining room with a framed photo of each of our blessings surrounding it.
