Lavender essential oil has been a staple in our home ever since the birth of my first baby almost 17 years ago. My midwife was the one who first introduced me to herbs and essential oils, and I’m so glad she did!

Ever since I learned about the amazing qualities of essential oils, I’ve used them in everything from natural hair and body products to natural household cleaners.

Once I started learning about how many chemicals were in our cleaning products, I went on a mission to replace everything with more natural alternatives.

One of the hardest things to replace has been scented candles and room spray.

Thankfully, I love the smell of lavender, so this lavender linen spray has become my go-to natural room and linen spray recipe in our home.

You could also use another essential oil in place of the lavender and it would work just as well.

This lavender linen spray is so simple to make with just a few readily-available ingredients. You can use either vodka or witch hazel in this recipe. I used witch hazel this time.

How to Use Natural Linen Spray

As I mentioned above, lavender linen spray has a variety of uses.
I like to spray some on my pillowcase before bed, since lavender promotes relaxation. You can also spray it on towels, clothing that is being ironed, or even your skin!

I just love spraying it all over! It's not a strong lavender scent, so it's pretty faint (I used 35 drops of essential oil), but I like it that way.
