Growing up, my mom always had lots of plants around, and for a time we had a greenhouse. One thing she often did was use an old wash tub as a planter. When I found this old wash tub in a junk pile behind the barn, I could just envision it with flowers in it, sitting by the front door. My loving husband liked the idea and came home with these flowers, which he and the children planted for me. 🙂
