Trying to keep my little ones profitably busy during this LONG winter has been difficult. I’ve been pulling out all the craft kits I had accumulated. Yes, we’ve had some BIG messes! The creative process seems to require messiness. We made some homemade vanilla (above) and that was easy and fun. Next, we made beeswax candles from a kit I purchased several years ago.
These were easy, too, as you just roll out the sheets of wax around the wick. We made several for gifts and gave some to Grandma.
Some of the candles were decorated with little bees and flowers.
