Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays because it’s all about love! It’s a great time to focus on all of those beautiful Scripture passages about love. Here are 10 Valentine’s Day Bible verses and faith-focused printables for you!

10 Bible Verses and Free Printables for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day Bible Verses

1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

Colossians 3:14

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

1 John 3:1

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

Valentine's day bible verses

1 Corinthians 13:13

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Ephesians 5:1-2

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Matthew 22:37-39

And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

1 John 3:18

Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Thanks for sharing this post! I love to focus on God’s love during the month of February. And since God’s desire is for us to love one another, we spread some of that too! 🙂 I have some cute conversation hearts I made last year that have Biblicially inspired phrases on them. You can find them here: https://mamasbrush.wordpress.com/2018/02/09/the-best-conversation-hearts-in-watercolor/.

It makes Valentine’s Day something that anyone can enjoy! I’m hoping to have some printables in the next week too… if I can get it done 🙂
