What She Wore {Denim Tiered Skirt}

Recently, Kosher Casual wrote me about doing a review for them. I reviewed a Kosher Casual skirt last year, and I was excited about getting to do it again! As I browsed through their skirts, this adorable denim tiered skirt caught my eye. My oldest daughter had been asking for a tiered denim skirt for quite a while, but I hadn’t been able to find one in her size. This one is perfect!
Elyse has a very tiny waist. We ordered the women’s Long Denim Tiered Skirt in stonewash blue, size AXS (adult xs). It fits really great! She actually likes to wear her skirts a bit below her natural waist, so this one worked out well for her. She’s about 5′ 6″ (or around there–maybe a little taller), and the skirt is quite long on her, so it would probably still be long on someone slightly taller.
The waistband includes some elastic at the back, and also a short back zipper. Here’s a view of the back:
I just love the top she’s wearing, which she bought at a local store on the clearance rack.
Even though this skirt is full, it’s snug at the hips, so it has a slimming look. The denim is a heavier weight, which is perfect for fall/winter/spring wear.
Elyse was very happy with this skirt, and my youngest son was thrilled with the free piece of gum that was included with the order! I wish I could read the writing! 🙂
If you’re looking for modest clothing, I highly recommend Kosher Casual. They have a nice selection of skirts, tops, dresses, layering shells and tank tops, and also girls’ clothing!

  1. I live in denim skirts! Thanks for sharing this website with us. I also like the shirt she is wearing 🙂 Happy to see you with us at the Art of Home-Making Mondays this week 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sara! She has never colored her hair, but she did spray some "sun-in" on it last summer, so I think that's why the bottom half is a bit lighter. The top half is closer to her natural blonde color. 🙂

  2. I have enjoyed visiting your blog. Our families have much in common! The skirt is super adorable especially with the lace undershirt. Very feminine. God bless.

  3. I love denim skirts, and this one looks quite warm. I'd have to hem it because I'm only 5'1". And I can't fit xs since I had 3 kids. LOL Going to check out their site now. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I know what you mean. I'm only 5'2", so I have difficulty if the skirt is too long, also. 🙂 However, since my daughter wears her skirts lower than her natural waist, sometimes a skirt that looks really long on her would actually be a bit shorter if worn at the actual waistline. And after 5 kids, I'm nowhere near an xs anymore, either! 🙂
