How to Make a Christmas Simmer Pot
Here are the simple step-by-step instructions for making your own Christmas simmer pot:
- Add cranberries, star anise, cloves, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks to a pot with about 2 cups of water.
- Simmer the pot of water with the potpourri on low heat and enjoy the delicious smells of Christmas wafting through the house! If the water starts to evaporate after a time, simply add some additional water to your pot.

- Slice the oranges, leaving the orange peel on. Dehydrate the oranges in a dehydrator until completely dry, or make dried orange slices in the oven.
