Valentine’s Day Dipped Oreos Ingredients
Find the full list of ingredients, amounts, and instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Oreo cookies: You can use whatever kind of Oreos you prefer, but the regular type are what was used in this recipe.
- White candy melts: You’ll dip the Oreos in melted white chocolate candy melts. Wafer melts are probably the easiest to work with, but you could also use almond bark for melting and dipping.
- Sprinkles: Use any Valentine’s-themed sprinkles you prefer. I really like the look of these pink and red heart sprinkles!
How to Make Valentine’s Day Dipped Oreos
- Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper where you’ll place your dipped Oreos for cooling.
- Melt the White Candy Melts: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions. This usually involves microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth. You can also use a small saucepan to melt the candy melt, if you prefer.
- Dip the Oreos: Carefully dip each Oreo into the hot melted candy and remove using a fork. Let the excess candy coating drip off and gently tap the fork against the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place the dipped Oreo onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Add Sprinkles: While the candy coating is still wet, sprinkle the heart sprinkles over the top of each Oreo. Be generous to make them look festive!
- Set the Oreos: Let the Oreos sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes or until the candy coating hardens. For faster results, you can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, your Valentine’s Day Oreos are ready to enjoy!
How to Store
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
