Step 4: Top with foam. Finally, top with whipped cream.

How to Serve

Homemade lattes are perfect for early mornings with a fresh pastry!

Serve your latte with a Strawberry Cream Cheese DanishSourdough Vanilla Almond Scones, or Cranberry Orange Muffins to feel transported to a bakery or coffee shop.

You can also serve this recipe as an iced vanilla latte by using cold brew (instead of fresh, hot coffee) and pouring it over ice, and using cold frothed milk rather than warm.

How to Store

Lattes will definitely taste the best when they are consumed hot, but you can store the espresso in a sealed container for up to 2 days.

Whipped cream does not last well once put on a warm drink, so it’s best to store the whipped cream and frothed milk separately from the espresso.

Absolutely! You can brew a strong coffee or a coffee pod instead of espresso shots. Just make sure it’s strong enough to hold up to the milk and vanilla syrup.
