This easy cookie recipe uses just a few ingredients. You can use the jam flavor of your choice. You can even use different flavors to have a variety of cookies!

Jam Thumbprint Cookies Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp vanilla (Learn how to make your own homemade vanilla here)
- 3 cups whole wheat pastry flour (Learn how to make flour at home with a grain mill)
- 1/4 cup jam of your choice (berry or peach are good)
How to Make Jam Thumbprint Cookies
- In a large bowl, beat together butter and honey. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in flour.
- Roll dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill until firm, about 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls (about 2 Tablespoons each). Press flat onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Make an imprint in the middle of each cookie and fill with jam or preserves.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until done. Allow to cool on baking sheets.
